Frequently Asked Questions

General

Q: Where is Bad Boi Drifts located?
A: Our workshop and track are located in Gurugram, Haryana. Since these are private drifting sessions, the exact location is shared once your slot is confirmed.

Q: Can I visit the Bad Boi Drifts track, and then decide to book a slot?
A: Our track is not open for general visits. Since these are private sessions, there are no visitors allowed. It is only accessible for private training and ‘Arrive & Drift’, once they are booked.

Q: Why are drifting sessions relatively expensive?
A: Drifting involves significant expenses, covering everything from building and maintaining RWD drift cars, renting a track, transporting vehicles and equipment, to hiring a private trainer. Additionally, there's the cost of tires and fuel consumed during the process, not to mention the inevitable wear and tear and damages incurred when pushing the limits of the car. Our goal is to provide you with an effortless and hassle-free drifting experience, sparing you the need to manage individual aspects and making it easily accessible. It's the full drift experience, conveniently packaged into a single price.

Q: Can I go for a trial class before opting for a session or training program?
A: Due to aforementioned substantial costs, offering a trial class bearing all these expenses is not feasible for us. However, you have the flexibility to opt for a single session. If you decide to purchase more sessions on the same day, we can conveniently club them together, and you'll only need to pay the difference of the package. This way, you can tailor your experience based on your preferences and budget.

Q: Is there any discount?
A: Yes! The more sessions you purchase, the lesser the price per session gets.

You can also get bulk discounted rates without paying all upfront!

  • Start with just 3 sessions at the regular rate (INR 29,000 per session).
  • Purchase the next set of sessions the same day you use the last one.
  • This way you only pay the difference between your initial single session cost and the discounted package rate.
  • Session validity: 1 year from the date of purchase

This way, you can enjoy ongoing savings as you progress through your drift training.

Q: Do you have branches in any other cities?
A: Sorry, we don't hold training in any other cities. We provide training only in Gurugram. And since we provide everything (drift cars, simulator, track, trainers, fuel, tires & damages), we have trainees coming in from all across India.

Q: I am over 18 but I don't have a driver's license. Can I learn to drift?
A: Absolutely! You are welcome to learn drifting with us. However, it's essential that you have some experience driving a manual transmission.

Q: I am under 18. Can I learn to drift?
A: If you are under 18 years old, we need to know if you have experience driving a manual transmission. Additionally, a parent or guardian must be present during your training. Your safety and adherence to regulations are our top priorities.

Training

Q. Can I learn to drift in a front-wheel-drive car?
A. While it's technically possible to mimic a form of oversteer known as lift-off oversteer in FWD cars, true drifting experiences are more effectively achieved with RWD configurations. That's why Bad Boi Drifts provides fully-built Mercedes C-Class cars to provide an authentic drifting experience for enthusiasts.

Q: Can I use my own rear-wheel-drive car instead of yours?
A: Drifting involves pushing a car to its limits, causing significant wear and tear. This not only reduces the lifespan of your car but also incurs additional costs for tire replacements. Our all-inclusive package ensures you don’t have to worry about damaging your personal vehicle. However, once you learn a few techniques, you can opt for ‘Arrive & Drift,’ where you can bring your own RWD car and rent the track from us for a few hours. This doesn’t include training, fuel, or tires.

Q: What does a typical training session include?
A: Each session is all-inclusive, providing 30 minutes of seat time in a drift-ready Mercedes C-Class, a professional drift trainer, briefing, theory, and a demonstration lap. Click here for the brochure.
